We booked into this site for a week and decided to extend our stay by four more days.  The site is immaculate, all hard stsnding.  There are no toilet or shower facilities but the water/waste points are convenient wherever you are pitched. The wardens were friendly and helpful.  We would definitely stay there again but I do have one moan.  TV reception is hit and miss.  Signals are picked up (I am told) from a mast at the nearby golf club.  These are then rebroadcast, via a tall mast onsite, to all parts of the site.  That's the theory but it doesn't work very well.  Talking to others on site it seems that pitch location is the key.  Too many trees between your pitch and the mast and you'll get little or no reception.  Some got good pictures, some got nothing but static.  We got a few channels (none of the BBC ones) which were prone to pixallate at various times.  If TV is important to you and you visit this site check TV reception before completing pitching up then at least you can try another pitch.  CC this needs sorting out.

Poor TV reception on many sites is why I always carry a satellite dish and a freesat and/or Sky receiver.

Rarely watch more than 6 hourd TV in the caravan. 120 nights away and TV used Christmas eve. day and boxing day.

Stover has a unique system but Remus is right that reception varies despite the 'wonder' mast.  We've stayed there many times but on our last visit pitched in a different part of the site - near the office - and TV reception was rubbish.

Write your comments here... We do too but high trees made it unusable.  We could have moved pitch but even then there were none that looked good for either type of TV reception.

It's the CC set up. It's a wireless booster that you need to point your aerial towards. It works well on most pitches but not all.
