Latest road hazard

If there weren't enough things that create difficulty when touring, the latest craze is about as stupid as it is possible to get. CARPOOL KAREOKE is now starting to appear on the roads. I was forced to swerve to miss two young ladies who were more interested
in filming themselves on a mobile phone while bouncing about in the car. They were paying no attention to the road whatsoever.

If you notice a phone or camera being used in the car in front, give it a lot of space, as the driver will not know you are around.

Very irresponsible of James Corden and his producers to show, youngsters who are fairly high risk drivers and others how not to drive on our roads. Surely the police would have asked for this to be condemned.

Why is anyone surprised? It happens all the time. It is almost impossible for plod to enforce the law on using phones whilst driving. The only ones who seem to get caught are those who have caused an accident. Using a phone whilst driving should carry the
same penalty as drink driving. Further, how many people do you see parked in stupid / dangerous places because their phone beeped and they just had to answer it?

    Rant over.

There is television evidence with this, as James Corden has been recorded in a right hand drive car in what appears to be the UK and left hand when in the USA.

I recall a lady being fined about £60 for taking a bite out of a mars bar while stopped at traffic lights.

It was hard enough driving listening to the latest Janet & John with tears of laughter running down your face.
