Which site for first time to Devon
This year I've concentrated on building up towing experience and next year we want to go a little further afield as I'm feeling a lot more confident with the bigger caravan.
So we are looking at Devon. I have fond childhood memories of Damage Barton (Discussed elsewhere on a thread earlier this year). But from people's experience which CC sites would be the nicest to try out and have reasonably good access. Dornafield is one
site that has always appealed.
I also did wonder what Camelford would be like if we wanted to head to Cornwall.

Totnes and Tavistock are surely the nicest towns to visit in Devon . So it's either the Club site at Totnes if you can manage without electricity, or Harford Bridge site on the river bank at the edge of Tavistock if will consider a non Club site.

Should add we would want EHU and Wifi.

That leaves Tavistock still in the running

As for Camelford......
There are far nicer places in Cornwall.
In Devon, if you want good access, I would avoid anything in the South Hams (Dartmouth/Kingsbridge area). The CC AS at Lydford near Tavistock might suit.

Perhaps you'd like something like the Minnows site? Nice area with canal walks, near the M5 and easy access to Exeter and Exmoor?
Or Putts Corner, a steepish climb up from Honiton via the A30 but good for visiting Sidmouth and the E Devon coast.
