Online booking, car reg, where does it come from?

When I use the online booking system to book a site, when it gets to the page with Outfit details, the caravan is correct, but the car reg isn't.  I've never owned a car with the reg shown, so where does it come from.  Can't find in My Profile.  Is it a
default one and you just override with your own car reg?

"My profile" is in the top right hand corner of this page.

I have always had to input the registration number on each booking. It remembers the caravan but always comes up with the change outfit option.

Is this something peculiar to caravans and not MHs?  I ask, because when I make a booking, on the first page where your details appear, our outfit shows a MH.  However, underneath is shown "Add another", which by default is always ticked.  All I do is tick
the MH outfit instead, and it then comes up with the correct reg number for it.

I think for motorhomes it stores the reg but caravans it doesn't.

The same thing happens with our outfit. It shows a Bailey U2, but the add another is ticked and I have to re-tick ours. The car reg does not seem to be stored, except if you make one booking after another, when it remembers it. Log out and you have to enter
it again. Perhaps the CC reckon people change their cars too frequently and can't be trusted to change the number.

I didn't know that, but why?  The caravan has the same reg number as the towcar (unlike on the continent of course, but this is the UK!).

Well, that is odd.  Perhaps they think people DON'T change their MHs that often then

Yes, I understand that from SteveL's post, but as the caravan reg number is the same as the towcar, I don't understand why it can't store the reg number, like it obviously does for MHs.

I know it's not that important in the great scheme of things, but it's just that Wildwood posted he had to input his reg number each time he makes a booking.  I didn't realise it was different for caravans.

if I book through the normal way via site details etc then I have to add the car reg.  If I book using the fast system it remembers my car registration.  I suggest you clear your cookies and history as I guess it is remembering something previously entered.

My Reg is stored, but it insists I have a one axle motorhome.. Hmmm ....When I change it to two axles it asks me to update my outfit details but there is no option to update the number of axles. Top drawer system the CC website

We had that problem, it kept insisting our U2 Cadiz was two axles. I phoned the CC and they sorted it, as I found it impossible. Great system.??

Write your comments here...Yes, we find the same with the MH - I cant work out why the 'default' setting isn't correct! I would have thought that loigically if you input a specific vehicle, that would automatically then be the default setting!

Same here, it stores our previous M/H reg as default and for the latest one we have to tick the box each time.
