Isle of Wight car hire

Hi we are staying at southland site i a few weeks and i am looking to hire a car for 5 days ,i was initially looking at Enterprise with the deal as a club member but have read alot of bad reviews regarding the insurance side and deposits .Does anyone have
any experience of car hire on Isle of white or can recommend a good company ?thanks

    Premier ford in Newport do hire cars also Esplanade (Ryde one )  have used PF long time ago and were fine.

    Not a car but we recently hired a van one way when we collected the new MH and used enterprise and must say can't fault them.

    Yes we had to leave a £200 deposit but it was refunded back to the credit card within a day or so, the rest of her insurance was included plus theyou will pick you up or drop you off if you want so give it  a try.

    We hired a few yrs back from a local garage cost of hire picking up dropping off £50 & £50 deposit returned when taken back and we were even allowed to take the pug in it , it was only a foreign little 3door hatch but used so
    little fuel , try the garages first before big hire company's
