I would say that this is another case where the warden needs to look out of the window and not at the computer screen to decide whether to allow further bookings.......but someone 'reported' me for saying that previously......

The wardens seem to know how many vans were due in, it just doesn't tie in with what's being shown on the web site. Wonder why?

Possibly because they are perfectly capable managers (not just wardens) and are managing their site.

    I am ok with that.

We have just got back from The Ranch CC in Maybole and the site was full all weekend last night there were only 2 empty pitches on the site. It is nice to see them busy the weather being good might have had something to do with it

I don't understand your point, Fysherman. The thing is that the wardens on this site are volunteers who are just sent a list of who's supposed to be coming when. The numbers do not tie up with what the Late Availability was showing.

Plenty of routes in (and out) where there's no charge. They're all we ever use.

We are at Berwick CC site and have been for the last 12 nights with 4 to go.

The sites been full every day since we arrived.

Back home for 2 weeks then down to Cambridge (other cluds site) for a week as we find CHerry Hinton too dark being in an old quarry.
