Where new to this and have just got back from a lovely long weekend, what happens if you just want to go away for just the weekend? Can you only access sites on Saturday after midday (ish) and likewise have to vacate before midday (ish) Sunday....doesn't
sound like much of a relaxing weekend. Do some sites flex the rules abit about arrival and departure times? I appreciate that in most cases it's probably about not blocking up narrow access roads.

Arrival times are fixed, departure times are more flexible. Under the current rules (and lets not get into the rights and wrongs, bad manners/good manners, consideration of members... of this, just stick to the OP) you may ask the wardens if you want to
stay past 12 on the day of departure and the warden's discretion/decison is final. Up to 4pm there is no charge and it may be on your current pitch or not but it usually is.

With plenty of room on Sunday, wardens allowed departures as late as 6pm at Brecon Beacons CC last Sunday.Still plenty of vacant pitches for Sunday  arrivals.

    Folks,

As this topic was brought to an end some while ago and all that could possibly be said on the subject is in the thread for which Tintent has kindly provided the link, I'm suspending it and asking our Community Manager for a decision on whether it should
    continue.

    Many Thanks.
