The reason I ask this is that the written information and the site plan don't add up.

It states that there is 47 H/S pitches, 20 Serviced pitches, total number pitches 67. Yet the site plan clearly shows grass pitches. When you drop down the 'Important Information' box it states all non awning
pitches are grass.

Looking at the information in 'Club Sites' it gives the site as having 72 pitches in total 55 H/S and 20 Serviced which would be 75 in total.

I'm confused, has the site had work done but nobody has updated the info, anyone any the wiser.

We went there last year for the first time and I think it had had new hardstandings put in in some areas. A phone call to the wardesn might be your best option.  We werent keen on it as it didnt have dog walks directly off site - you go straight out of the
gate onto the road.  The local pub is nice though

Cheers BM, we are still in France at the moment just looking at a site for a couple of nights between visiting our boys. Got one sorted if we decide to go over to the East a bit and another for the West just planning something for the middleWink then
when we know what the weather is doing we will give a site a ring don't want to pre-book as all sites have spaces at the moment but weather is the main driving factor, hence H/S

The service pitches at the Firs were on grass, I think they converted them to hard standings. It's not a bad little site, we did find some good walks but you do have to walk along the road to start off with.

Cheers H&T, looking at the site plan that's on line about half of the pitches as you said are on grass but the write up says all H/S so confused will give wardens a ring as BM advised.

We were there last year and all the service pitches on the lower level had been converted to H/S.  I don't think there were many grass pitches left on either level

We are now at The Firs site and it is lovely, a bit of road noise if you are on the pitches st the front of the site. As JayEss rightly said the lower pitches have been changed to h/s and service pitches. The site plan is wrong, it still hasn't been updated.
There are 9 non awning pitches on site all are on grass, they are huge pitches. There are still a few grass awning pitches, 60,61 on the lower level and 27 to 31, 38 on the upper site, there maybe a few more but the pegs have been removed from some as they
are out of service just now due to the wet weather.

Come on CC get the information on this site upto date you've had long enough to do it, the number of pitches on site are incorrect, the site plan is incorrect. It took me all of 10 mins to walk around to get this informationFrown its
a lovely little site lets make the most of it.
