Can anybody remember the temporary site created at Aintree Race Course for the Garden Festival in 1984 and if so, were any site plaques ever comissioned for the ste?

In a similar vein, the site that is now private at Ladycross Plantation just off the A171 outside Whitby, can anybody remember how long this was a club site for?

Can recall Ladycross. It is still there, private site now. Sorry but not sure when Club lost it, possibly mid 1990's?

Out of interest when I read this thread I typed in "rally plaques" and this lead to the past history of the club and the historic CC collection at Beaulieu. You might find some info there and a contact number. I know this is a bit trivial but do attendees get plaques at the national each year? I didn't and I'm handing over my plaques to one of my young grandsons so have I missed out?Smile
