 Just spent a great weekend at this touring/camp site near Burnsall in theYorks Dales. A bit of a tight squeeze through the stone archway near Bolton Abbey but well worth a visit if you like the quite life amongst the great scenery. Highly recommended. Will
be going again.

    Do you need to be able to do that funny handshake to go there?

    The warden blindfolds you, puts a noose round your neck and leads you round a table before you can sign in.

    The answer to that question is no.  Bolton Abbey is the CC site.

    Looks good and mid week prices seem good at £14 including electrics. Just paid £23 at Wharfedale site.

    Which route did you take Oak bec? Did you go straight to Burnsall and turned right  over the little bridge at the Red Lion pub?
