Well what a suprise
We were going to France for a month.Went on 5th May.All well to begin with. Then we lost our acsi card, I had a very severe bout of diahorrea lasting about 3 days and felt wretched and the weather turned wet and quite cold.Came back to Britain when the weather
picked up and I felt a lot better.I said to my OH t as t hat we had never toured in South England and so we did and had a wonderful time.We stayed on 2 club sites and 2 private sites all 4 very good and near places of interest.
I had forgotten about the bank holiday weekend and the school holidays but we still found nice sites to stay in.We weren't QUITE as chilled about booking etc. as we are in France as we always rang up and booked but only the day before we travelled. It was
very relaxing and a great success.

Hi Sumitra,
As you've posted in the UK Sites and Touring Section, it might be of interest to others if you tell us which sites you stayed at.

Glad you had such a good time Sumitra. We toured France every year for 15 years but for various reasons made the choice a couple of years ago to stay in the UK in future and we have had some wonderfu times. We live in such a beautiful country.

Two private sites were concierge camping near Chichester.Expensive but superb and Briarfields motel Cheltenham which was also very good.Very good bus service just out the gate to Cheltenham and Gloucester.Every 10 mins during day and 2o mins during evening
Two club sites.Cheddar Gorge very good and handy for visiting the caves. We had a very pleasant walk to Axbridge, a lovely old village, lunch in a nearby pub and caught the bus back. Minehead, handy for the town and also Dunster Village and Castle,0
