when i was young i was cripplingly shy and would cross the street to avoid groups of people ,as years passed ive grown more outgoing and confident ,or is it that with age you realise that really people are not that interested in you, and your not that important
,and it doesnt matter what you look like, or wear, and altho i still get a little bit shy ,i will try to say hello to other campers when passing :/ but im lucky cos really im happy with my own company, most of all !cheers mrs bc:))

Mrs BC.....if you are able, try doing some volunteer work.

Nothing like discussing other people's (very) personal issues one to one, to help with shyness.

Speech isn't always required. A smile or an inclination of the head to acknowledge a fellow human being will suffice.

I have said in various posts that the majority of members I meet are ignorant, and the one or two that are not are the sunshine, but it nearly always rains, to the OP do not worry about them, 95% are just ignorant and cannot help it.

if you could keep a spread sheet per site and publish it periodically we can check your asseration that 95% of the people on sites are ignorant! Wink
