I occasionally review Club Sites, mainly commenting on what is available in the surrounding areas, transport links, good places to visit and eat. Being a dog owner, I will usually give an honest assessment of how good it is in terms of dog walking close by, is there a safe off lead walk for a good walk. As Club Sites are very similar in the facilities they provide, don't always comment on these.
I do however, try and leave a review for every CL we visit. CLs need all the help they can get in terms of encouraging members to try them, and I know a few members along with ourselves who rely quite a bit on informative reviews To make a decision on suitability.
If we haven't been to a site for a long time, (over a year or two) then yes I would probably do another review, especially if something I mentioned last time had changed.

I try and review every site we visit, CLs & Club sites. I tend to do a comprehensive review covering places of interest, nearest shops & pubs, walking (with & without dogs) and cycling as well as the facilities and conditions on the sites. Even if I've previously
done a review it has generally disappeared by the time I revisit a site so I write a new one. Things change for the better or worse and I attempt to reflect that.0 -
yes I do one each time, I try and give information about the site for various users, those with children, or dogs, or which pitches are better than others in various respects. I also include any places I've been to and if any local places have discounts
for club members. I also praise the wardens when its due for example a friendly welcome, or well kept site.0 -
I don't bother any more. I wrote a negative review about the owner of a CL who is nothing less than a harridan. She proved that by bullying HO staff into withdrawing the review.
I moaned and posted another negative review which was backed up by other members. The review got taken down again.
I must emphasise that the reviews I posted were honest and straightforward statements of fact. I therefore came to the conclusion that reviews are a waste of time in both the writing and the reading of them.

That must have been the dreaded time out function on here Eileen, it catches many of us out. I get very fed up with it so don't post reviews on here as frequent nowadays.
