hiya how late do you have to be before you inform cc site? I cant expect to arrive onsite until 6pm , is it etiquette to inform site wardens or is that only the case if you are going to be really late cheers mrs bc :)

I don't think 6 pm is outrageously late; I believe wardens are usually available till 8 pm. But I think it would be courteous just to ring the site, maybe on the morning of your arrival to let them know.

Can't see it being a problem - CC wardens are a pretty obliging lot really! Wink

I would say it all depends on what time you have put down on arrival when you made the booking , if you put between 18:00 & 20:00 you should be fine but if its after 20:00 it would be best to given the warden a ring.

Don't you have to nominate an estimated arrival time when you book? I would have thought that if you are likely to arrive after reception closing time. 5.00pm, it would be polite to speak to the site.

Most don't mind as long as it's before 8.00pm But it's probably worth ringing the office if you anticipate arrival considerably later than you indicated.

If you put on the booking you are arriving between 6 and 8 why ring? Obviously if you get unavoidablydelayed then yes give them a ring.

As a warden all we ask is that if for any reason you are going to be later than 8pm, that you ring the site asap and advise of your current situation. I would also advise ringing with updates when travelling incase of further delays for instance heavy traffic
    or an accident on route...

Some sites do not have a LNA.......
