Will be visiting here soon , can anyone advise where to find the pitches with a sunny aspect and not under the trees. I have looked on Google Earth but anyone who has been to site will no doubt be able to suggest the best for us. Any other info will be appreciated.

Pete

We went in the winter, no issues with trees Tongue Out

Marry up google earth with the site layout map and the images of the site on CC and UKCampsites and you'll get a good idea.

The row adjacent the railway line is pretty tree free.

Most of the pitches have some tree cover.  We thought the best ones were on the left side from reception, pitches 1-22 on the plan.  These were also much quieter, away from the play area and the noise from the attractions at the end of the park.

Actually, there are loads of nice pitches there. I think that we went on the edge near the miniature railway line......but it's a fairly large site and well spread out....just have a drive round and see what takes your fancy.

Enjoy it, there's lots to do in the area. Smile
