Huge, very busy. Beach is across road and is lovely, but most of beaches in Northumberland are lovely! I think they keep front part of site for tents only, but not absolutely certain. There are some great CLs that we would prefer more than this, but depends
    what you like of course!

We stayed there last year (2015) Site has been extensively remodelled from what it used to be. Most c/v pitches are hardstandings on the new rear part of the site. Nice beach right opposite the site and Bamburgh beach not far away. Site is well worth a visit
if you want to stay in the area.

I believe that it gets very busy and noisy at weekends when the diving/tenting fraternity turn up.

thanks for replies, we are up in the area next week and it sounded ok but certain reviews on other sites were dubious so I thought I would ask on here as I respect the opinion on here more than anywere else. Think we will give it a miss.

We have been here a number of times and it is fine it can be a bit exposed in bad weather but the surrounding beaches are superb I only live a hour from Beadnell and i have fished it surfed it and kayaked it I can get busy at weekends but the divers etc
are a friendly bunch and there are a couple of good pubs serving food a short walk away

    It will be fine

We liked Dunstan Hill nice walks from site and well situated for exploring.  Beadnell Bay is very exposed, Dunstan Hill is very sheltered, we had glorious weather whilst there, own microclimate??  I'm sure you'll enjoy. Its a beautiful part of our wonderful
    country.

Good walk from Dunstan Hill over to the beach and to Dunstanburgh Castle (N/T).

Take a look at West Kyloe Farm as well spk, lovely little private site, very dog friendly. Great for Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Berwick. Quiet, clean toilets and showers, great views.Happy
