Hi Everybody. I see we are back up and running. A big thanks to the Tech guys at CC for sorting out the problem. Now then, as new M/homers my wife and I fancy doing Scotland, and whilst trawling the net I came across a site featuring the North Coast 500
route, that sets out to show the best scenic routes around 500 miles of the entire coastlines of East and West Scotland. It looks fantastic and just wondered if any members on here had taken this trip, and if so, how was it. They also list all available sites
along the way, so we thought we could take a 2 week holiday and take our time, spending a few days here and a few days there. Any help on what the route is like and good sites to stay at would be appreciated. Thank you all.

    Plenty of wild stops/

.The best is off the causway at Kyle of Tongue. Take plenty of time, keep looking ahead to decide where to pull in on the single track road, both for oncoming vehicles and to allow those in more of a hurry to pass.

Here's a thread on exactly the same topic.  Might be helpful.
