I was there a couple of weeks ago.  It was slow but I did manage.

Southport is a fairly large site, so even with its silver categorisation (8 - 25mb) if it is full that will not go very far. However, if AA say they are aware of a problem I would ask the wardens what they know, and if they were no wiser email the CC. As if there is  a known problem they should be detailing it on the web site, which as far as I can see they are not.

Well here I am at Southport, couldn't get wi fi yesterday when I arrived or today so this afternoon spoke to wardens who stated they had an issue that they were waiting for air Angel to rectify but couldn't get any info from air Angel as to when the fix
would be done. Suggested that I could ring air anger which I did. They told me that they had a software problem with 75% of the site and were waiting for an engineer to visit the site to rectify the fault but air Angel did not have any time frame when the
engineer would attend and the fault be fixed.

It is now 2050 the same day and I am on line using wifi supplied by air Angel on the Southport site, so "guess " the fault must have been fixed !!!
