Which part of the country are you looking for, Debby. And what sort of site - entertainment laid on or somewhere for exploring the countryside?

A big ask Debby without knowing where you are, how far you would travel and what type of site you're hoping for.

We live in Selby North Yorkshire & would travel for a couple of hours.  It would be nice if the camp site had a club house in case of rain but not essential.  A park for the children would be nice & nice walking trails. Must have toilets & shower block.
Our friends will be wanting to take their dog,s so a camp site where they will be welcome also.

Chatsworth would be a possibility, but it well be booked up already. Castleton and Clumber are another couple that might suit, but neither have a club house.

How about Knaresbotough? We haven't ever used the site but there's a thread running on clubhouses on sites which mentions there is one there. And it's a nice area for getting out and about - lots to see and do! Happy

On a similar line Burrs Country Park has a pub adjacent to the site.

Scarborough or Bridlington (would have to check they are open) would provide plenty to do and are easily within 2 hours of you.
