More disappointment on the way?

Since I started caravanning in 1998 I've begun each season spoiling for a fight.  With loins girded for battle against surly wardens, muddy pitches, inconsiderate people with messy dogs or noisy children, and a thousand and one other things set to ruin my
break I tow the van to a site.  Where are all these irritating things that others find with ease?  Baddies seem to be vanishingly rare.  Kind, thoughtful, friendly and helpful folk seem to be the norm.  It's all so utterly depressing.  Maybe I'll have more
"luck" this year.

Don't relax your guard. Stiffen up the sinews, summon up the blood, then lend the eye a fearsome aspect.... For caravanners now abed shall think themselves accursed they were not here and hold their membership cheap while any speaks that pitched with us
    upon the Baltic Wharf.

I'll always ready to do battle with those selfish people who stay on past 12 (with warden's permission) but I can never tell who they areSmile

It's alright Remus. I just come across a real prat whose parading in front of the van spouting Shakespeare to all and sundry. I think his name is Henry but don't want to challenge him as he looks a bit fierce and spoiling for a fight.

Keep looking and I'm sure sooner or later you'll not be disappointed.

Thine forward voice, now, is to speak well of thine friend; thine backward voice is to utter foul speeches and to detract. Tongue Out

Since it's Bill the Quill's anniversary I thought I'd impart a little known fact about him.  He owned a caravan.  In fact he owned two.  He simply referred to them as A and B.  One weekend he and Anne were planning to stay at a CL but he simply couldn't
decide which caravan to use.  "Tow B or not tow B" he thought.    I'll, er, get my cape then.
