Travelling to Tywyn

I would like to know if there are any steep hills on the way to Tywyn in West Wales from Birmingham.  I remember years ago going to Barmouth and struggling to get up a hill without a caravan so do not want to set off and find myself in trouble as I know
Barmouth is quite close to Tywyn.

The only steep bit isthe pass from Dinas Mawddwy to the Cross Foxes junction. All HGV and Caravans do it. An alternative avoiding the hill is to turn left at the Brigands Inn Roundabout to Machynlleth, then either via Aberdovey or through Corris. The Welsh
roads are probably better than those in England

I have been to the Barmouth and Tywyn area a few times over the last few years, never had any probs with any of the roads.
