Hope it wasn't anything too serious, and that you could continue with your journey/holiday. We've only had to call them out once and that too was prompt & efficient.

We had cause to call out green flag when our alternator fell to bits. As it was after garage bourse they took us home and on Monday they collected us again and took the car for repair. Superb service!

Yes, that's what breakdown recovery services do. All of them.

Glad to hear that you had good service - not my experience recently.  Waited 8, yes eight, hours for recovery. Luckily we were within a few miles from home so was able to get home and use another vehicle. Green Flag  apologised but it does not fill me with
confidence for when we are going to be hundreds of mile from home.

I've had good & so-so service .... really does depend on the contractor used.

On the one occasion i have used green flag the service was excellent. One of my cars had a clutch problem and a guy with a van turned up to tow it away.Anyway he phoned his depot and within 30 minutes a state of the art transporter turned up and the car was
winched into this box carrier then loaded up all by remote control. It was very impressive.

Four week ago my AA membership expired; I’d been a member for year and never called them out.

I saw the offer in the CC magazine to join Green flag so I phoned on the Friday and signed up to the premium UK. Deal because we where going to north Wales the next day.

Unfortunately approaching Sandbatch services on the M6 the turbo on my Saab expired big style in a cloud of blue smoke but I managed to pull in to the service area.

I called green flag from Sandbatch services but I only had the print out confirmation as I only joined the day before but the girl said don’t worry we will send a technician and sort out the paper work. The Mechanic (Dan) arrived 45mins later and after cheeking
over the engine he declared the turbo deceased.

Dan called his office and was told the paper work was sorted and they will make arrangements and call back. We where expecting a tow truck to pick the car and caravan up and take us home but when they called back we were told because we had premium uk cover
a truck would pick up my car and deliver a hire car so we could continue the holiday.

Two hours later a pickup arrived from Liverpool with a brand new Vauxhall Insignia and took my Saab away to Stoke-on-Trent.

After the Easter holiday I called them up and they collected the insignia and returned my car.

Fantastic service from Green flag and the best £105.00 spent this year.

Some years ago we had a mishap and called out AA. They recovered the car but put it on garage forecourt although garage closed as they could not pick up same vehicle twice. Green flag quite happily did as stated above.
