Unfortunately we arrived in Wareham, and Range Rover akternator failed. The warranty, meant it needed to be recovered, and the wardens could not have been more helpful.....but heres the curious question - Thirthy Car Hire in Bournemouth stated they would
not deliver a replacement Range Rover to a "Caravan Site!" A taxi had to come from Bournemouth, collect me and return me to their collection depot.  Has the Caravan Club now be reclassified into a " undersiable and questionable clients!" by such companies.
What is the CC view on this? Has any othe members experinced a similar situation?

Maybe it's just the Wareham site. You'll have seen the neighbours I expect.

Cant understand the reasoning behind that. If they dont want to drive onto the site they could have met you at the gate.

Good you mentioned the name. That is not good service and bad news travels fast.

I recall years ago my Mondeo broke down while away at Pembrey. My car blew a hose and as it was a Ford Direct car they not only picked up my car for repair  but delivered a courtesy car to the site as well .
