Hi, Marks post above is pretty much spot on, however, just to clarify a few things. Club sites that have thermostatic mixing valves installed on sinks have to be set at 43 degrees. We used to set the tmv's in the washing up area slightly higher but in 2013
it was decided to have all the same. There are quite a few older toilet blocks with no tmv's hence tyou can experience what seems to be a great difference from site to site.The showers will always seem the same as the shower control is itself a tmv.To prevent legionella bacteria forming, stored water must exit boilers at a minimum 60 degrees and return at 50. My site runs directly off the mains (no tanks) and uses combi boilers and in that instance water can leave the boilers at 55.

Thank you for the clarification, I knew it was in the 40's range and in my opinion that is luke warm, absolutely no good at getting dirty dishes clean, hence my initial reason for posting.
