Hoorah! The moulesys are off to Ferry Meadows tomorrow and we'll be there until Saturday. If you spot us, or more likely, the dogs, do come and say hello. Kettle is always close at hand, as is the bottle opener! Happy

I hope you have a good time at FM. Just a warning though we had easter at this site and there was a private security patrolling the entrance between 8am and 10pm as they had unwelcome visitors in the area. The outside gates were then locked once the security
had clocked off and you had to unlock the outside gates before using the barrier card to gain access to the site.  It took the enjoyment out of our visit. I think we would have felt safer if the security were patrolling at night not just during the day time.
Never seen this on a CC site before.

Thanks, Ian. Arrived about an hour ago, took the dogs for a stroll into Nene Park, quick bite of lunch and now to start working through Mrs M's list of jobs.

Have you been here? The park's marvellous, huge lakes and already seen some really interesting carvings from the dead trees. Wish it was easier to post pictures on here, they're real works of art! Happy

I also see that it's fully booked for the next couple of weeks.......has word gotten out that you were going there?

Glad that you've arrived safely. We won't get to Manningtree, the CL we're staying at closest to Polstead, till the 28th. I guess you'll be either heading back or at home by then.Sad

It was like that when we were there in November, we were told it was because travellers had pitched up further into the park. If the security firm have been there all this time who's paying for it
Surprised  must be costing a fortune.

Lovely place though would like to go back when its not pouring with rainLaughing

Sorry, Michael, it's just me being stupid. If you've never stopped there it's a fine site. All grass but very well drained, EHU only but not expensive. good walking from the site and very quiet. Has good reviews if you want to check it out. When do you take delivery of the M/H?

It looks as though it is only booked up for the week the National Motorhome show is on at the nearby show ground?

Fingers crossed for you. There's nothing more frustrating than waiting for a special item and not having it arrive when you've been promised it. It's particulary a nuisance when you hope to use it to get away.
