Brenda House Caravan Caravan Park, East Yorkshire
We are pitched here on a lovely small private adults only site here in East Yorkshire. There are 22 pitches, all hard standing with a good amount of grass in between. The pitches are mainly around a horseshoe but positioned so as not to overlook anyone.
There are plenty of water points and the obvious hook up points. There are a few seasonal on but not too many. Facilities wise there is a toilet/shower block (£1 per shower for 7 mins), a dog exercise area and the usual waste/bins etc.
Nearby - there is a pub in walking distance which serves food at a reasonable price. This is next to the train station for trains to Hull Selby and York. Also nearby are Howden (1.5 miles) with a range of shops and cafes, Goole (6 miles) and Selby (10 miles).
Further afield is York - recommend the park and ride at McCarthur Glenn shopping village.
A bit more expensive than our usual sites as we tend to use CL's but at £16 per night for 2 adults, hook up and awning it wasn't bad at all. We also paid £2 to stay till 4pm tomorrow otherwise it's off by 12. £1 each extra for any visitors or extra cars.
There is some minor train noise from the nearby line but on the whole a quiet site.

I did wonder that but no where else to put a review . I'm sure it will be removed if I'm breaking the rules!

It's a UK site in the UK section. What's the problem husky?
Rochelle, closed a thread that mentioned another club site because she said it was advertising , the thread was called "got a solar panel" , but now it has disappeared .....
i don't have a problem with the OP ,just need consistency .....

I think the problem with the post that was closed was that it was advertising an offer by the other Club, rather than an individual campsite, that I would imagine was seen as being in direct competition with the Caravan Club's own sites. I am not sure the OP is advertisng the site but just providing useful information by way of a review. At least that is my take on the situation,

Fair point , but all we need is califercation , I had e-mailed rochelle for an answer ,but haven't hade an answer ( usall)
She'll be waiting for the wording of a nonsensical answer from one of the mandarins in the upper reaches of Grimstead Towers. These things need some mulling over, you know (especially when you're not sure what a caravan site is

Plenty of other sites and their special offers are mentioned regularly on here though, David? Sandy Balls and Haven spring to mind.
Also ACSI, with their prices that are so much less than booking through the CC get regular mentions?
