Bolton Abbey site

Hi all we are currently on bolton abbey site and just want to say what a lovely site it is wardens are brilliant very welcoming and helpful facilities are absolutely spotless only One thing to be aware of is the narrow archway on the approach road just take
your time and get in the middle of the arch 

This is on my return visit list

    Yes I managed to hit the arch last year!  Eeek.  Was still standing when I drove off though! Happy

    We are booked for there at the end of June. Looking forward to it.

    Motorhomer its a nice sitecwe are on oith 21 wich is at the bottom part just be aware that kids use the slope as a drag strip for scooters etc lol

    How did you manage that? Surprised You could (and they do) drive a bus through there Innocent

    I can only assume I didn't get a straight run at it.  No idea what part of the van I hit as I never found a mark on the van butbthe crunching noise was quite bad!

    I'm sure you're not the first also damn sure you won't be the last (not many articulated buses lol)
