Full service pitches -search sites
I know this has been covered before, but can't find the thread.
When using the search sites facility, there doesn't seem to be an option of "full service", "super pitch", or whatever the cc is calling it this week.
Am I missing something? Help appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

No you are not missing something. The search doesn't give you this option. Pick the site you want to visit, click on availability and it will let you know if the site has serviced pitches. It may tell you in handbook, we never use them, so not something
I have noticed. Failing that, ring the site direct, the Wardens can book a pitch for you! Hope this helpsyou can also download a map of each site, which will show where serviced pitches are located. Again, go to Site page, and click on download site plan.

Write your comments here...Thanks for this - that is exactly what I do, but younwould think that the CC could include the option, bearing in mind some of the oher options they include.

Nutsytvr - yes, you would think that serviced pitches would be a relevant search criteria......compared with 'within 5 miles of watersports' or 'within 5 miles of fishing' etc.

Precisely what I meant. I sometimes wonder why I continue paying membership fees to cc.

Just as well that we are all different, I think 'watersports' is far more relevant to me than a serviced pitch, and fishing come to that. Just my take on being a member, of course it would be spot on if it was included as well rather than take one out to be replaced by another.

There is an up to date list from the CC here, organised by area. Service pitches
are to the far right of the list, I have to turn my pad landscape to see it properly. That list only shows one site with super pitches? Not too sure what they refer to as a servcied pitch as to my mind a servcie pitch is one with EHU and nothing else. Super pitch has water and drain connections.

A list was compiled in <THIS> thread, but a couple of years old now, probably still as but more added.
The list which I compiled a few years back will be out of date now, but should still be a good guide. As it appears that more hardstandings are being brought on line, I guess the list will be the worst case scenario.
The list provided by the CC in the other link provided is probably more up to date now. I just don't understand why the Club doesn't include full serviced pitches as part of the search. I've asked for this to be done before, but I suspect it has been forgotten
about with the passage of time. Probably time for me to ask again!David
