Nice site. Lived locally. Never used Service pitches.Would caution about taking pitches at bottom of main area as near main road with roundabout and calming strips which are noisy day and night. Excellent location. walking distance of Breacon via towpath.Bus
service at site entrance.0 -
not been to that site, but havebeen on service pitches many times on others. They usually have a bollard with your own water supply, a tap with those hoselock conectors things so make sure you have some - get the cheap ones from B&Q, Homebase. They will also have a grey waste drain somewhere on the pitch. I assume you know how to adapt your aquaroll and you'll need some waste pipe from your grey waste outlets.
Are they worth the money, in my view yes, once connected you won't have to worry about the aquaroll running dry of the wastemaster overflowing, no rolling a heavy wastemaster or rolling a full aquaroll. the wastemaster is more hard work as you'll know. How much is that worth to you, would it make for a more relaxing holiday? only you can decide, most people who have tried it once wouldn't go back.

Brecon Beacons CC site is very nice and has been recently refurbished by the Club a lot of money spent, facilities now top notch. Very nice views of the mountains from the site, lots of good walking available direct from site, the Brecon Beacons rise to
just short of 3000m and are less rugged than Snowdonia, but still demand respect. Lots more activities and interesting places to visit. As stated in a previous post pitches near main road may suffer from road noise, but most pitches are fine.0 -
The area is beautiful. Different to Devon and Cornwall. The Beacons are very good for walking but make sure you are properly equipped.

I've just returned from Brecon but didn't stay at the Brecon Beacons site. It looked OK when we passed it though.
Loads to do in the area, lots of lovely little towns and villages to explore. I managed to avoid having to go to the mountain centre or for a walk which was a bonus

Hi,was there last year , nice clean site two great toilet blocks and small shop that sells supplies and some spares, the site is located right on a r/about and if u end up on one of the many serviced pitches on the perimeter and there's a lot of them you
will hear road noise if the site is not busy then the non serviced pitches are just as good .no mountains but high peaks be sure to walk down the towpath to Brecon and also in the opposite direction we will definitely go again.0 -

called Brynich.0 -
Excellent site, as good as any on the network.
Stayed here several times, never troubled by road noise.
Allpitches serviced and non serviced perfectly level and large.
Site maturing nicely now, excellent toilet blocks, superb dog walk and very large shop, the biggest we have ever seen on a club site. Believe it is privately run.

Write your comments here...Opps! Of course I meant feet, even so they are still majestic mountains.

Visited last October, really enjoyed the area. Hired a day boat from Brecon Basin as we had the Grandson's with us they loved it and made their holiday. As said there is some road noise but could not be heard inside the van.
