Pretty much like a typical CC site as you might expect but with a big park outside. Research by looking at the pics on the relevant site page, reviews and Google Earth. You'll get the idea.

Depends what you want or expect from a CC site. Good for walking into the town, near to busy main road.

Very nice site, one of our favourites. Although if you have a full awning a lot of the hardstanding pitches are a bit small. Very good grass pitches available in season. Reasonably easy walk into Cirencester, which is good for shopping, both food and other. Plenty of good walks from the site. Cirencester park where you can often catch a polo match, or a favourite of ours is the Tunnel Inn for lunch, a circular walk of about 8 miles. Plenty to see in the area, Chedworth Roman Villa (National Trust). Bibury Trout Farm about 8 miles, bring some very fresh trout home for dinner. It is worth trawling back through the reviews on the site page. The Wood fired pizza's on Thursday night ( sets up in the car park ) are not to be missed. Hopefully he is doing them this year.

Flo, it's 40 minutes from home for us, a regular haunt when we were both working and still one of our favourite club sites. Depending on how busy it is when you arrive the HS pitches to the right of the main drive are pretty standard modern club pitches,
wide enough for car, van, awning configuration. The ones on the left tend to be narrower and on many you'd have to have your car parked in front of the van. If the grass pitches are available, those are the ones to go for. Although it's a large site, there
are several areas to pitch in. In summer, it's a bit like pitching up in an arboretum surrounded by trees. It's an easy level walk across to the park and on into the town which is a beautiful Cotswold market town. Loads of walks nearby, with or without a dog
and, obviously, lots of options for eating. One of our favourites, a short drive away is The Bell at Sapperton, great to sit out in the garden at lunchtime but very busy in the evening.Lots more I could recommend but you're sure to find out for yourself if you go. Enjoy !!

Site itself is not near a busy road and as long as you do it before 5pm you can walk into town via the park. After that, yes you have to walk alongside the main road but it has a wide pavement.

We went 3 times last year when we first got our caravan, absolutely love the place. We chose the grass pitches by the dog walk and they were quite large. We did get a bit of a shock when it was a bank holiday as the site did get very noisey and the eurobins
were overflowing. Biggest issue with the site is the access road, it certainly needed resurfacing after all the construction traffic going into the college.0 -
Only been here once and we enjoyed it.
Pleasant walk into Crencester, big park next door - ideal for dogs. Cirencester itself is a very pleasant little town. Quite a few places to visit nearby.
The road to the site is a bit rough, but not a problem really. Big downside of this site for me is that most of the hardstanding pitches are very narrow and selling them as awning pitches is a bit of a cheek, to be honest. We don't have an awning, so less of a problem for us, but it might be for others. As others have said, you may well have to park your car across the front of the caravan.

It is like any other flat club site but larger than most. Very easy walk into the town and supermarket though so that for us is a definite plus. Also no problem to find and access is easy. If you want to visit the area it is as good as club sites get.
