    ok

were off for a week end of Sept. Bunree and north ledaig (or whatever its called) are on shortlist so which is best. We want sea or loch viws from pitch, good off lead dog walks from site,a village or town within walking distance. Anyone got any thoughts.

Personally we would go for North Ledaig. All pitches are on  slope down to the sea with views of the islznds and you can watch the boats going in and out of Oban. Bunree has similar type of views but only if you get a waterside pitch.

To us the clincher is realy that Oban has more character and is a far nicer place but that is personal. To a certain extent it also depends on where you want to visit when you get there as at the end of the day the conveniance point might be the most important.

I too would suggest north ledaig but would not suggest either to have a village within walking distance

There is a village ar Bunree. It is on a loop of the old road opposite the site entrance. Post box, Telephone box, Post Office, Shop, Pub with food.   What more might one require?
