Causeway Coastal Route - Northern Ireland
We are taking the ferry to Larne in July and intend doing the Causeway Coastal route with our motorhome.
Any advice on stops/sites, etc.
We intend to carry on into Donegal where ther don't look to be many caravan sites - maybe a lot of wild camping here?

Please see my reply on 4th July in "Your stories" - general - Page 3 - in response to what we found to be an inaccurate posting entitled "No parking/motorhomes at The Giants Causeway".
As I mentioned in my response the Feagh Farm site was ideally situated for many attractions on the Causeway Coastal Route. See also my site review in the CL section of the website. We stayed at 3 CLs when in Northern Ireland. (I think that we did reviews
of all of them.)Other sites we used were those we found in NI Tourist Board inforamtion booklets. We stocked up with these at the Information Centre at The Giants Causeway.
For visiting Befast we stayed at Jordanstown Loughshore campsite which is next to Belfast Lough. It is a short walk into the village for a bus into Belfast. To stay at that site you will need to phone a number which is in their entry in the literature in
order to pay and obtain the entry code.My wife has just found the number - 02890340137. The web address is www.newtownabbey.gov.uk.

Have a look at sites near Cushendall and Cushendun, (Glenscoast Parks etc.) this is a very pleasant area on the Antrim coast. We travelled up this way to the Giants Causway and the Carrick a Rede rope bridge but used the C & CC site at Delamont as a base, if going again we'd stop along the Antrim coast and visit the Glens of Antrim too. Plenty of details on the NI tourist web site.
