Please can you advise where there is availability in the north of England from Friday 25 March?

JB, the Late Availability section is here -

    http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubapps/applications/uk-caravan-sites-and-parks/lateavailability.aspx

It doesn't seem to cover the dates you want so I think you'll probably need to check each site individually unless the call centre can help you.

Janice, on the UK sites page you could just type in the start and end dates you want but leave the site box empty. That way you'll get a list of all sites with availability. Hope you find something to suit - don't forget that if the club sites are booked
up there are plenty of CLs which might suit!  Happy

Janice, I fully support Moulesy on this one. If the Club site in the area you want is not available, then look up the CL's in that area. Look for those that have EHU's ( Electric Hook ups) and then use Google Earth if you've got it, to have a look at the site from above.  If it looks good it probably is! Phone them up and book in!  All Done!LaughingCool

The only issue is that most to not have toilets & Showers etc, so your van will need to have its own facilities, but apart from that many of us believe that CL's are, - generally speaking very good indeed, and of course significantly cheaper than club sites.

thank you everyone for your advice. We're new at all this booking and touring, we began last October. It was a CL who told us to ask the question to you all, as we found out every where was booked up because the phone lines had been opened up end of last
year. We now know for this year.  Thank you for a brilliant response.

Janice, for next year's bank holidays, if you want to be sure of a pitch on a club site the opening date for bookings, and how to go about booking, will be published in the magazine and on the web site. It is usually during the first week in December.
