Just found on the New Forest National Park planning site that the planning permission for the work at Black Knowl has been withdrawn. The application was submitted on 16th November 2015 and withdrawn on 12 Feb 2016 with no reason given. Will the Club comment
on this turn of events please as it looks that we might not get a much needed improved site for 2017

Perhaps what they were planning to do has run into difficulties and they have withdrawn the plans to allow a rethink? I think you need to e-mail the Club direct as many staff will be at the NEC this week.

The APPLICATION may have been withdrawn but NOT the permission, it hasn't been granted yet. This is not an uncommon process to allow the applicant to address planning concerns and submit a fresh, revised application.

I have just noticed that  recent reviews of BK all state that work on this site will begin this year. How is this possible when there is no planning permission or  active application to date. The application was withdrawn earlier this year. Could somebody
at the Club HQ please clarify if this work will take place and when.

It is always possible that the planners have said something is wrong in the application and it has been neccessary to withdraw the application so that it can be amended. If the application cannot meet the requirements of the planners there is no point wasting
money and getting in an amended application as soon as possible makes sense.

You are most unlikely to get an answer to that sort of question on the forum unless you are lucky enough for it to be seen by a member of Club management. That might happen but for a more certain response I would again suggest you write directly to the Club
who may be in a position to provide you with that information.
