Pathfinder, not quite sure what you wanted in this blank post but I have put the links here from your following post and Deleted User that. Hope that is OK.

Don't know the area. How do these links relate to the CC site?

In the meantime here's what you can do:

    1. Spread the word.  Please make sure everyone who might be concerned knows of the new threat.

    2. Like us on Facebook. Follow and re-tweet us on
      Twitter

    3. Tell the Forestry Commission what you think.

They already know there is a real risk to their reputation.  The key player who will authorise a new application is Simon Hodgson, the Chief Executive Forest Enterprise England. (fe.england@forestry.gsi.gov.uk)

    4. Join the Friends of Fineshade - so that we can contact you by email as soon as the application is submitted

    5. Please contact us with ideas, questions, comments, encouragement, offers, etc.     friends@fineshade.org.uk

Is there any evidence that the CC site will be at risk? Caravan type holidays certainly do not conflict with their overpriced cabins with jacuzzi etc. Looked at  the links you posted but could see no mention of the CC site.

This something that has been going on for quite some time, keeps getting refused and they keep coming back with another applicatin. I believe the stumbling block quite rightly so is the access

I can see that the proposed development might be an issue for a number of reasons. However, the title of this thread is will Stamford CC site be at risk? It would be interesting to here from the OP why they tabled the question, as I can see nothing in the
links that were given that refers to the Caravan Club site. Have I missed something?

Still interested in a response. Is the OP not interested in the thread. If so I'll let it die.

The warden at the time when this first reared its head, said the lodges would be built further back in the woods not near the Club site

We have one of these developments in our local forest and even if you walk through the middle of it you hardly know the lodges are there. If it is to be built away from the CC site I would have thought it would have minimal impact. Environmental concerns
are quite another matter. The site near us is also located close to the visitor centre and car parks, and even in peak season once you are a quarter of a mile or so into the wood, you are almost on your own.
