gibralter farm at Silverdale on Lancashire coast. Stunning view over Morecambe bay towards grange over sands and barrow. Reputed to be one of the best sunsets in uk, and it is. Plus stunning coastal walks.

Thanks spk. Been looking for a site near to Morecambe so we have just booked here for AugustCool

If you are into CLs Baldylocks, you could also look at 'Molly Tuckers Field' in South Devon. Wonderful views over the Channel.  Site no 473 in book but please follow instructions on how to get to site. A challenging last 4 miles due to narrow lanes but well worth the effort. Then there are the CLs on the Pembrokeshire coast. What stunning walks along the coast.  Love your Avitar! Which Police Station did you have that taken in? LOLHappySealed

There are some sites on the coast at Woolacombe and Mortehoe near Ilfracombe in Devon that have lovely sea views, sandy beaches and coastal walking.Smile

I remember once staying on the club site in Plymouth and getting a sea view but it can be windy there. It was when I was last there.

Aaah, Gibraltar Farm, back in our tent camping days...

Second the gorgeous walks, and RSPB Leighton Moss is close by. And it's always sunny!

The club site at Spittal is my favourite for sea views and interesting views of Berwick upon Tweed. But The Wirral site at Thurstaston comes a very close second because of so many places of interest within striking distance.

Write your comments here...I agree about Thurstaston with its views over the Dee estuary and sunsets. The Wirral Country Park is also great for walking.
