Easter Weekend booking
Does anyone know any Caravan Club sites that have availability still for easter weekend including EHU within 100 miles of Barnsley. Everywhere we look seems to be booked up.Thanks in advance.

I appreciate that it's a little over 100miles but North Yorks Moors site nr Whitby has vacancies at Easter, I booked myself last night. The only downside for some people is that there is no toilet block, but with a modern van thats not a problem. We live
in Sheffield and its 108miles from home to site and thinking about it it might be a shorter distance for you getting onto the A64.0 -
jimbo, I'm was surprised that it's so far from Sheffield to Whiby, but having just checked it myself it just goes to show how big a county Yorkshire is!!

Write your comments here...Yes it is surprising, it takes us around 21/4hrs to the site the only real holdup is a roundabout near York where it goes from 2 lanes into 1 which usually means you get the idiots who must pass the caravan at all costs, but once
past that it is just a nice steady drive to the site.0 -

past that it is just a nice steady drive to the site.Getting round York is often a pain in the proverbial, especially if one wants to head in the direction of Malton/Scarborough.
