Easter Weekend booking

Does anyone know any Caravan Club sites that have availability still for easter weekend including EHU within 100 miles of Barnsley. Everywhere we look seems to be booked up.Thanks  in advance.

    Might be tricky for Easter Weekend itself Scott - is there anything in the Peak District, say Buxton or Castleton? Alternatively, I bet there are some great CLs out there with space. Hope you find something that suits.

    Just had a look and pitches are still available on the Hebden Bridge site. It has no toilets/showers but its a fantastic site and not to great a journey from Barnsley. We are already booked on.

    Lower Wensleydale still has non awning pitches available.

    If your willing to go a bit further (139 miles) but quite an easy drive M1, A42, M42, M5, Malvern has hardstandings with awnings available. A very nice site, with plenty to do in the local area.

    If you are trying to book on line it is worth giving the sites a telephone call.

    There are quite a few CL's in the Barnsley area if you don't mind CL's.

    Sutton on sea is showing pitches on hardstandings,grass i would think not in use so showing full, 103 mls

    Stamford - top lodge is showing available pitches, 90 miles down the A1

    not a c c site, but if you fancy a change the Chester Food festival have camping there over Easter weekend includes entry into the food festival. We are going think it was £116 for 4 nights inc hook up and entry to festival.

    I appreciate that it's a little over 100miles but North Yorks Moors site nr Whitby has vacancies at Easter, I booked myself last night. The only downside for some people is that there is no toilet block, but with a modern van thats not a problem. We live
    in Sheffield and its 108miles from home to site and thinking about it it might be a shorter distance for you getting onto the A64.

    jimbo, I'm was surprised that it's so far from Sheffield to Whiby, but having just checked it myself it just goes to show how big a county Yorkshire is!!Surprised

    jimbo, I'm was surprised that it's so far from Sheffield to Whiby, but having just checked it myself it just goes to show how big a county Yorkshire is!!Surprised

    Write your comments here...Yes it is surprising, it takes us around 21/4hrs to the site the only real holdup is a roundabout near York where it goes from 2 lanes into 1 which usually means you get the idiots who must pass the caravan at all costs, but once
    past that it is just a nice steady drive to the site.

    Getting round York is often a pain in the proverbial, especially if one wants to head in the direction of Malton/Scarborough.
