Sorry - just seen another post earlier about this… (I'm still peeved…)

Does anyone know the reasoning behind the Club's decision to put some site pitches on "Pitch Up"?

We were recently unable to get a pitch on a site, despite one being available, as it had been allocated by the Club to the "Pitch Up" app.

I am a bit peeved that, despite paying a fee to be a member of the Club, we cannot book pitches which are available as they are held for others to use via a different "club". (I know Pitch Up isn't a club - but I hope you know what I mean.)

I know I can use the "Pitch Up" app to check availability on Club sites but I don't want the hassle of having to do this.

Interestingly, Club sites have recently had some issues with some people booking one night via Pitch Up and then staying for several nights without paying, resulting in Police, security firms and bailiffs having to be used.

I don't remember reading anything from the Club about them having this policy - have I missed something? Am I being unnecessarily grumpy?
