Celebrate National Walking Month with our Walking Wanderers Competition!

Did you know that May is National Walking Month 2026?
This annual initiative is all about encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to get outside and embrace the simple, yet profound health benefits of walking. It is the perfect opportunity to explore the great outdoors, improve your fitness, and connect with others in a healthy, enjoyable way.
This national celebration mirrors our own Walking Wanderers initiative. The Caravan and Motorhome Club is currently inviting its 1 million members to be part of a shared journey of discovery—a year-long celebration of exploring on foot. Inspired by The Wanderer, the first custom-built leisure caravan, our initiative encourages you to lace up your walking boots, embrace the outdoors, and enjoy the physical and mental benefits of movement.
Whether you’re setting off from the gates of a UK Club campsite or heading somewhere new, every mile you log contributes to our collective experience and, more importantly, to your own wellbeing.
To celebrate both National Walking Month and our Walking Wanderers journey, we are launching a special Photography Competition!
We want to see the world through your walking boots. Share a photo from a walk you’ve taken during a Club campsite stay in May for a chance to win.
The Prize: One lucky winner will receive three free nights at a Club campsite!
How to get involved: The competition is hosted in our dedicated Walking Wanderers Group. Head over there to join the group, read the full details, browse the entries, and share your own snaps to help us move towards better wellbeing together.

- To enter the competition, entrants must submit at least one photograph or video on the dedicated discussion in the Walking Wanderers Group on Club Together from the opening of the discussion to the closing of the discussion.
- In order to post a photo you need to join the walking wanderers Group once you have registered on Club Together. Non-members may not be able to upload a photo (please see further below on how to enter if you are a non-member)
- Competition is open for the month of May.
- There is no purchase necessary to enter the competition and there is no fee payable for entering or receiving the prizes.
- There is no limit to the number of entries submitted.
- The winner will be announced on Club Together, the Club’s social media channels and other Club channels with the winning photo.
- All entrants to this competition must be residents of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands, or Republic of Ireland.
- Entrants must be 18 years or over.
- The opening date for this competition is 7.12 01st May 2026
- The closing date for this competition is 9am 01st June 2026
- The prize is not transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- If you are unable to submit your photo on Club Together, i.e. not a member of the Club, you can add your photo via our ADD stating ‘Walking Wanderers Club Together’ as well as the description of the photo.
- The photo that gets the most likes will be the winner. If there’s a tie then we will put the photos to a vote via a poll on Club Together. If there is still a tie the winner will be randomly selected from the photos with the most votes. The decision shall be final; there is no right of appeal or discussion.
