Instructions for resetting lighting system in 2025 Unicorn Deluxe
I have finally cracked resetting the lighting system in our 2025 Bailey Unicorn Cabrera. I share in the hope they will help avoid hours of frustration for others.
Before anything, have master switch on for at least 5 mins before trying any of this to ensure no auto pair mode
Step 1. Clear the 3 boxes under the front drawers by pressing 5x on the black button
Step 2. After resetting those, don’t turn master switch off - this will keep them live and hopefully out of the auto sync mode that stays on for a while when first turning 12v on
Step 3. reset the remote ~
Before anything, have master switch on for at least 5 mins before trying any of this to ensure no in any auto pair modes
On the remote press and hold power button until LED comes on ~ then press the power button 5x quite quickly, if done correctly the led should flash to show it’s reset
Now everything is reset
To pair a box to handset (example for light zone 1, boxes should be numbered on the wooden panel, not that it matters too much)
Step 1 Put box 1 into pair mode by pressing the black button 4x
Step 2 put the remote within 10cm of the box (this is very important as the pairing won’t work otherwise)
Step 3 quick press the power button on remote
Step 4 select zone to pair to (zone 1 for this example)
Step 5 press and hold power button until led blinks and stays solid
Step 6 immediately short press S2 to start the pairing - wait a few seconds and if all is ok the led on box will go solid and it will now be working for that zone
All of this, can sometimes take a few goes - if you get ****** off just reset everything and start again
I found after pairing 1 box successfully to wait a 5 mins just incase anything else wants to try and auto pair and mess things up. The lights will come on and off during the process but ignore until completed
Now everything is reset
In my first attempt somehow Zones 2 and 3 got programmed to button 2 together. I reset box 3 and all worked well.
