Google quickly gave me over 100. Probably lots more if you look.

If you are thinking of CLs you can select those without EHU in the search facility on the club's "uks search and book"
There is also a discussion about club sites without EHU but I can't find it, you could try the search facility!!😁

Searchforsites website is a good resource, includes not just Club related campsites. There is a link to a list someone has produced on here for CLs without hook ups, but I am not sure where to look at the moment……
Think this might be it…

Good point @DaveCyn Some CLs are metered as well, so you can choose to hook up or not.
For what it’s worth, if CLs are likely to be your first choice, it’s worth starting to make a personal list, so that you start to build a profile of sites you like, keep the contact details in case they choose to come off the Club network, and you can add a few comments for future reference. We started doing this 40 years ago, before the tech age was upon us, and it’s paid dividends in good site choices.

Certainly no need to limit oneself to CLs

Beats me why folk turn their noses up at clean green renewable plug in campsite electricity and choose to burn imported fossil fuel propane gas instead.

It’s called choice @eurortraveller same as you have (had) burning aviation fuel, same as I have holidaying as suits me. We all have our decisions around how we try not to be massive polluters, thankfully all different.

Thanks Johnny, I have tried to search for these but without success. Have now bookmarked them.

we use off grid stop overs where ever possible. Yes for cost in respect of energy but also off grid sites are less likely to have toilets and showers. It all means these sites are often really quiet and peaceful.
The CCC CS sites usually have a non electric option, and often even on hard standing pitches.
the more sites meter electric the greater the chance of being able to not hook up. Could do with various filters on site search engines having a filter for metered electricity.1 -
It was £40+ a night at Bolton Abbey for nights we wanted. We paid £15 a night instead with nice clean loos and wash basins, no hook up. Shower available at same price in Summer. We could have had a hotel room in Skipton for £39.99, but we wanted to use MH.
