Hi All,

I’m looking for some advice, we have a new Unicorn caravan and the mattress is OK, however it’s not like at home (if that makes sense), I’m looking for some advice from the community as to the best luxury mattress is. To quote my wife she “wants to feel like she’s floating in a cloud”.

Thank you

Remember your payload and mattresses can be very heavy. Your wife may need to give up the floating plan🙂

We have always used a 50mm foam [not memory foam as it is too hot] topper in our caravans. This has gone over sprung and foam bases, fixed bed or made up. Buy the best you can, ideally a few cm too large as you can unzip the corner and trim it to the exact size you want.

Why not just get a good quality mattress topper @PKJ searching through previous discussions on here should provide you with some ideas I think.

Duvalay have been recommended in the past, and below is a link to another recommendation

It would be useful to have an idea of what kind of outfit you are talking about.

We have topped our MH bed with a foam mattress topper. It’s a double carefully cut into two so that we can use as singles if we are only doing a quick overnight and don’t want to put our mid vehicle bed out as a big double. Each half has its own cover made from cutting a quilt cover to size, and rolls up to go under seats. Very comfortable. We have a generous payload though, and travel light in other aspects. The two halves don’t move about when put together.

Thanks all. I may give a thicker topper a go, we have a 20mm topper from our camper but it doesn’t do much, maybe a 50mm would be better.

As for my wife giving up floating Tinwheeler I wouldn’t want to disappoint lol

    The link Nelly doesn’t work?

That's strange as I have just clicked on it and it worked for me @PKJ although it took me away from this forum, and by clicking on the "Home" link it took me to the shop. This might work for them.

Makes a change from a Chinese producer I suppose!😁😁 I copied it from a previous discussions on here posted by a member who had one from them in the past.

Edit. There are lots of Mattress Toppers on both Amazon and eBay so it should be easy to find one to satisfy one's size/thickness & budget.
