Condensation in 2024 Challenger 580 caravan excl
Over this winter I have noticed heavy condensation on the inside of the roof lights in our van. The van has not been used nor heated. I have also noticed mould on the horizontal surface in the bathroom and on the wooden handles of the cutlery in the drawer.
To help with circulation I have left every cupboard and locker door open. I can't see any evidence of water ingress, although with the latest plastic panels this may be difficult
Has anybody else experienced this problem?

It's a perpetual problem and best dealt with by providing more ventilation. If you are able, try opening the door/windows on dry milder days. We do get some now and again if we’re lucky!
Using dehumidifiers will only draw more damp air into the van so you effectively attempt to dry the big outdoors which is why people who use them are convinced they work due to the water they trap.0

Thanks for your suggestions. We have had many vans over 45 years of caravanning and this is the worst van for over winter condensation. I haven't used a dehumidifier because of the reasons you give. It's been reported to the dealer and I'm waiting for a reply.
Incidentally the build quality is poor with warranty work still going on!
