Do I have to be in the relevant centre to join a rally?

Just joined the club recently - we have had our caravan for a year but were on a seasonal pitch till now, now looking to tour for the next year.

We didn’t really know what a centre is so we picked our local one Cheshire. Does this mean we are only allowed to book rallies organised by the Cheshire centre?

We received a brochure from Cheshire centre with all their activities, and we also found another brochure online that details rallies organised by many different centres. This made it sound like we have to leave a centre and join a different one if we want to attend a different event - is that correct?

Also whilst I am here asking questions - what is the best way to find out about organised trips outside the UK into Europe?

You can take part in rallies organised by any of the local Centres.Their rallies are all listed on the Club’s main website. Click on News and Events and scroll down. Phone the booking number given for each one.

Organised trips overseas are also listed on the main website - click on European campsites and crossings and scroll down. Book with Club head office.

You can attend any rally by any Centre and each Centre has a website explaining the details and the CAMC has a comprehensive list of all UK rallies.

You do not have to be a member of a Centre to attend any rally.
