    Last there in 2007, we were there when they were re-tarmacing the site roads! It's an easy walk into Cheddar and walk a bit further you start to climb up through the Gorge.

    As I recall, a site with access via a short narrow lane, very handy for walking into Cheddar and visits to the Gorge, Wookey Hole and the lovely city of Wells. I think we also made a trip to Street from here for a bit of retail therapy in the factory outlets of Clarks Village. There are also good walks close by in the Mendips as well.
