what to buy to connect my TV to the TV outlets on sites

I have noticed that many sites have an aerial socket for TVs on the pitch. What is the best lead to buy to take advantage of this? What length of lead do I need and what widgets at either end to fit into my TV and the external output.

Many people make their own but, easiest of all, is to buy one from the site warden. Then you’ll know it’s been purpose made to fit.

All the ones we have used on Club sites have had standard co-ax connections. Its usually suggested that you have a 25 cable the same as for EHU as the connections are on the electric bollard. As TW mentions cables are often sold in site receptions.

I cannot recall if ours is a 10m or 25m, but if buying now I would go with the longer. After years of making my own leads up I now buy ready made "co-axial fly leads" as the connection between fitting and cable will always be better and more suitable for outside use.
