Anyone interested in meet ups? - Travelling solo with an 8 year old

Hi everyone, I travel solo with my 8 year old daughter in our campervan and try to get away every few weekends. I'm based on Manchester so tend to stick within 1-2 hours from here at weekends. Wondered whether there are any other lone travellers with children that might be interested in arranging any meet ups? Let me know if you are!

    I admire you spirit going solo with an 8 year old. I am not a lone traveller but have you considered going on any of the >centre rallies<, its a great way to meet up with others. There are also solo Clubs. If you google "caravan solo clubs" it should bring up a few worth checking out further.

    Good luck in search out others company.

    Rallies is a great idea as suggested by @peedee

    Also take a look at ClubFest. I took my son, who was 8 at the time, a couple of years ago and we loved it! There was some amazing activities taking place which was a great opportunity for my son to make new friends and the live music in the evening is great, such a fun atmosphere. It's at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire which I think is about 2 and a half hour drive from Manchester.
