Bedding for Fixed Single Beds

Hi everyone, hoping for some advice please. We have just bought a motorhome with fixed single beds and would appreciate any suggestions on where best to buy the fitted sheets please. I think standard single duvets will be fine, but because the beds are thinner and longer….finding fitted sheets is a proving a bit of a minefield. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks Kim

I’m an advocate of sleeping bags. No sheets or duvets and covers needed, just the bags. They’re so easy to unroll and fling on the beds too. Simply take to a launderette when they need washing.

Our last motorhome at two single berths and I think we got standard 2.6 fitted sheets from JL. We also used duvets but went for three foot ones so that we could tuck them down the side of the mattress to keep them in place.

I bought a couple of 2ft 6 inch fitted sheets from JL (John Lewis) recently but they only have them in white.

I use a Duvalay >sleeping bag< in my motorhome, they also do custom made >fitted sheets.<

I use Duvalays on our fixed beds. Have both weights of quilt to use accordingly. Really comfortable. And dont trap you like sleeping bags do. We had previously used sheets and duvet, but these are much better.

I ordered bespoke bedding for my last motorhome from "Bespoke Bed Linens". As I am no longer a member of the club it appears I am not allowed to post links, but a Google search on the name will bring it up. They can be emailed on info@bespokebedlinens.co.uk.

It was a long time ago now, in 2016, and I think it was an fairly expensive option, especialy if you wanted a made to measure quilt, but the quality was great and you could order whatever sizes you required.

Much better to have proper sheets and lovely cozy quilts - as long as you have fixed beds anyway.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I had more success when I googled European size bedding, as our motorhome is a Weinsburg. Amazon and John Lewis offer a good selection.
