And the very best to yourself @peedee. Hope we can all continue with our touring next year.

With this easterly blowing today and your photo we were reminded of the "Beast from the East". We were staying at the clubs Knaresborough site and we made the decision to head back home to North Wales a day early. As we prepared to leave we could see snowflakes starting to fall and the next door caravan neighbour sitting outside his van wrapped up attending to his cooked breakfast on the Cadac.😱

We were off within 10 minutes and the snow finally caught us up around Bury. We made it home but were snowed in for a few days afterwards.

All the very best from me too @peedee and a Merry Christmas to all who view, and particularly those that post, on CT.Sent

May you all have a healthy, peaceful and safe New Year. Take care when out and about in your trips wherever you might go.

And a very Happy Christmas from us @peedee - as I've just posted on "What are you all up to". All this talk of the Beast from the East - this is us at Sandringham, in the thick of it!!

    Isnt turkey boring?

I paid £83 to buy it. Feeds 10 it said. They cooked it. I ate it. And what on earth now are we to do with the rest of it.

Depends on your imagination ET? Margaret makes a nice Turkey pie with some of the left overs. The secret is a tin of Campbells condensed chickem soup. Alternatively it makes a nice curry. Or better still do as we did get an invite out for Christmas Dinner and let them worry about the left overs😊

@eurortraveller why buy one in the first place then if you don't particularly like it and know full well that there would be lots left over after you and the family have had their fill today?

I don’t think we have ever had a whole turkey, none of us are keen on the dark meat, usually we get either a breast crown or a breast joint.

Leftovers are great for a meal on the 26th, either heated up or in a sandwich, no cooking to do.
