Just come back from Claylands nr Garstang, noticed a rally on site, spoke to the " steward" are there benefits of joining this club to meet new people?

was it a CAMC rally? Lots of organisations run rallies. If you can find it there is a list of this years rallies on the camc site which would give you an idea of what is around. In terms off of camc once joined you join a centre local to where you live, normally but you can go to ant rally organised by any centres.

Paulnmandy, I think you crossed paths with the North West Motor Caravan Section of another Club. They have a website, and if you like the look of their activities then pay the sub and join them.

Think it was a camc kind of, but a north west local one.

CAMC has local groups and, as was said, when joining the club you automatically get membership of a local group and will be able to attend rallies and functions of any local group, not just your own.
Whether you see that as a benefit, is down to your own personal preferences.

PaulnMandy, TW is correct about CAMC local groups, but I told you earlier the name of the group from another club which organised the rally you met this weekend at Claylands.

Hi @paulnmandy and welcome to Club Together. We do indeed have many rallies across the UK and overseas and it's a great way to connect with other members of the Club.
To search for a rally visit our events page and in the search tool on the page click Centre Events & Rallies at the top and you can search by date or location. I hope this helps. 😊
